We are pleased to share a list of initiatives lined up for SBMC in this year, marking a significant step forward in our mission to revolutionize the electric motorcycle industry.
Here's a glimpse into what's in store:
  • Battery Management System: Soon we kick off with the commencement of prototyping for a BMS (Battery Management System). This crucial step will ensure the optimization of battery performance and safety standards, further solidifying our commitment to delivering first-class products.
  • Further Battery Development: Building on the success of our initial battery prototype, we are driving forward into the development of our second battery prototype. This iteration aims to refine and enhance battery efficiency, reliability, and longevity, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
  • Next-Generation Connector: In line with our dedication, we are proud to announce the development of our next-generation connector. This improved connector will facilitate seamless battery swapping and enhance user experience.
  • Standardization: Recognizing the importance of industry-wide collaboration, we are intensifying our efforts to contribute to global and EU standardization. By aligning our technical specifications with international standards, we aim to foster interoperability and compatibility, and thus, to the widespread adoption of electric motorcycles globally.
SBMC is a liaison member of relevant Technical Committees at ISO, IEC, CEN and CENELEC.
With these ambitious initiatives already underway, SBMC continues to contribute significantly to the electric motorcycle industry, reinforcing our reputation for innovation and sustainability. Keep an eye out for further updates on these initiatives as we strive to push boundaries and shape the future of mobility together.

 Our Guide for Cities
With this Consortium, the members aim to facilitate the use of electric lightweight-category vehicles by means of swappable batteries, and wish to promote the development and deployment of charging infrastructure for that. One critical area of deployment is in cities.
Cities need to create sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly urban solutions; it is crucial to adapt to the evolving landscape of mobility.
In light of this, SBMC has created a guide to swappable batteries for motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicles in cities in particular.
This guide aims to provide direction to city councils and public entities focused on mobility and environmental matters in integrating disruptive mobility models into their medium and long-term city planning.
